In June 1945, Joza Čop and Paula Jesih, two well-known pre-war Slovenian mountaineers, attempted to scale the central pillar towering in the north wall of Tricorno. The film begins with the history of the conquest of Tricorno and retrospective footage recalling the attempts from 1906 onwards.
