Guide de montagne, les risques de la passion is a documentary about alpinism that takes place in Mont Blanc Massif. It was directed by Laurent Cistac in 2007 and produced by Aster. It features Christophe Profit, Matthieu Morelli, Dominique Stumpert, Isabelle Santoire, Bruno Gardent, Franck Henry and others.

Despite being paralysed by an accident in the mountains, Vanessa François continues to climb with the help of some friends, who in addition to being very strong mountaineers, show generosity and solidarity. After having successfully climbed the Zodiac route in Yosemite, he decided to face the Grand Capucin, a monolith of almost 4000 m in the Mont Blanc massif.

At the beginning of summer 2016, Ancelin, an 18-year-old young Haute-Savoie man with a cerebral palsy (BMI), will attempt to climb a 200-metre long road in the Charlanon needle, in the Aiguilles Rouges massif, facing Mont-Blanc. He will try to combine this ascent with a return to the valley by paragliding. A first for the young man, and an extraordinary adventure.

For almost fifteen years, Vanessa dedicated her life to the mountains. Every day, she strives to become a high level mountaineer and one day she will graduate as a high mountain guide. But one spring morning, in a few seconds, his life will change: the fall of a block of ice breaks his spine at the same time as his dreams. She needs to relearn how to live with her new condition as a paraplegic. She will invent new challenges between dream and ambition and with the solidarity of her companions of 'extraordinary rope'. It is this incredible journey of Vanessa that 'Dreaming under the stars' wants to tell through ascents made in the Verdon, in Yosemite, on the edge of the Cosmiques and other mountain sports.
