Will DeMartino

In 2002, Craig DeMartino was climbing with a friend in Rocky Mountain National Park when a terrible miscommunication occurred; DeMartino fell nearly 100 feet onto the rocks below. He survived, but his injuries were devastating — ruptured lung, fractured spine, pulverized feet, among others — and the accident forever altered his life. He could have retreated into his injuries and given up on climbing. Instead, DeMartino, who had one leg amputated under the knee, got back into his harness. Today, he has climbed grades as hard as 5.13, led an all-disabled ascent of El Capitan and introduced scores of fellow disabled athletes to the joy of climbing.

The Season 2 is a documentary about bouldering that takes place in El Capitan and Mount Rainier. It was directed by Bryan Smith in 2011 and produced by Duct Tape Then Beer. It features Craig DeMartino, Thomasina Pidgeon, Greg Hill, Jarem Frye, Jeremy Norris, Kevin Landry and others.

After the fall is a documentary about rock climbing that takes place in Sundance Buttress. It was produced in 2014 by Outdoor Channel. It is a part of the series Fight to survive. It features Craig DeMartino and Cyndy DeMartino.
