Beneath the ice

Canadian Will Gadd uses his unmatched ice climbing skills and knowledge to lead a scientific expedition into a previously unexplored territory beneath the Greenland ice sheet, to collect data on moulins and meltwater, and contribute to our understanding of the impacts of climate change on the environment. Joining Gadd on the expedition was glacial hydrologist and diving instructor Professor Jason Gulley. They both will rappel down the moulins to explore the hidden caves and then will climb the ice to return to the surface of the glacier.- 2019
