The film, was shot between 3,000 and 4,500 meters above sea level, in the Mont Blanc massif. Rémy Tézier explains how his vocation was born after watching Marcel Ichac's film 'Les etoiles de midi' with Lionel Terray when he was 15 years old: 'It was a revelation for me! The film finished and I had only one desire, to become filmmaker to film what made me want to live: the sea and the mountain'. Rémy Tézier founded his own production company in 2000.
