The film is dedicated to the life and work of an outstanding scientist, famous traveler Schmidt. Schmidt participated in the 1928 Russian-German expedition. Its purpose was to explore and map an area of the unexplored heart of the Pamirs. During the expedition, three German researchers (E. Allwein, E. Schneider and Karl Wien) made the first attempt to reach the highest point of the Trans-Alai Range, which at that time had the name of the Kaufman Peak (today, Lenin Peak or Ibn Sina).- 1964

Documentary in homage to Felix Iñurrategui made by his brother Alberto. Félix Iñurrategi, 33, died when he was descending with his brother Alberto from the summit of Gasherbrum II. This was his 12th eight-thousander. The spectacular trajectory in the Himalayan of the Iñurrategi brothers began in 1981 with the ascent of the Makalu, their first eight thousand. This would be followed by eleven more, in a rapid succession that caused admiration in the world of mountaineering, amazed at two young twenty-year-olds who crowned eight thousand after eight thousand, without the aid of oxygen and in alpine style.
